Anyone interested in learning more about traditional timber framing can enroll on one of our courses which are run in conjunction with Plumpton agricultural college.

The course run over 5 days and you will learn the traditional techniques and methods of early oak framing. In addition to using hand tools you will see demonstrations of modern timber framing machinery. The courses are very popular so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

Carving Course

If a 5 day course is a bit too much to manage, we also offer a short hand carving course where you can create your own bird of choice to take home. Full instructions are given and no previous experience is required. Tea, Coffee and plenty of biscuits are included in these half day sessions which run mornings or afternoons. Minimum of 5 people required per group and a suitable date can be arranged to suit all participants.
